As much of the UK continues to experience hot, dry weather, motorists are being reminded that the recent heatwave is not only affecting people but also their vehicles.
While many drivers think about keeping themselves cool, prolonged exposure to sunshine can also have a lasting effect on a car. High temperatures, strong sunlight and dry conditions can cause interiors to become extremely hot, while dust, pollen, bird droppings and tree sap can all affect the condition of a vehicle parked outside.
Using a quality car cover is a simple way to protect your vehicle during periods of hot weather. Whether your car is parked on a driveway, outside your workplace or at a classic car event, keeping it covered can help preserve both its appearance and comfort.
