Aston Martin called it their 'most intense and exhilarating car to date' as it was finally shown to the public at this year's Goodwood Fesitval of Speed and it seems as though motor journalists are agreeing. Only 24 of the eye-catching Vulcans are being made and they're so far removed from an everyday vehicle, you have to go on a course to learn to drive one!
With a cost in excess of £1.5m it's probably a good job they're not making too many of them, but we're wondering whether that's a small price to pay for a 'rocket on wheels' experience. Reaching speeds of 200mph, it's probably a good thing that this is a track only hypercar!
As the official supplier of car covers to Aston Martin, Classic Additions has been lucky enough to be involved in the top secret development process from the start and we were delighted when we were told that the car was going to be kept protected and cosy under one of our Custom Indoor Covers until it's moment in the spotlight.
Also revealed at Goodwood was the stunning Aston Martin Vantage GT12. With 100 cars being made, it will be slightly easier to get your hands on one of these as opposed to a Vulcan but its still pretty exclusive! Although track inspired, the GT12 is still able to be used on the roads. Lower, lighter and wider than the other Vantages, the new 6.0L V12 engine is capable of generating over 600PS. With new owners taking delivery from the beginning of September, we're definitely looking forward to seeing one of these on the road soon!
