At the begin of what has turned out to be a very unusual year, one of our crazy team mates decided to BRAVE THE SHAVE for MacMillan Cancer Support.
On 10th February, Stacey Jones decided to Brave the Shave and have all her hair shaved off in aid of the MacMillan charity. After a friend was diagnosed with cancer, Stacey wanted to support in anyway she could.
MacMillan Cancer Support help everyone with cancer to live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. To help them do this Stacey raised a staggering: £5,393.50.
A huge well done to Stacey, who now has a full head of hair again. However, Mandy Ashworth is taking up the gauntlet now, this time the challenge will be growing her hair as long as possible. Eventually this will be cut and donated for wig production for those suffering the consequences of hair loss due to cancer treatments. This is the length of Mandy’s hair now so watch this space and we’ll keep you up to date with progress.
